I am so happy that you have stumbled upon my website.

I hail from the city of Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England but have lived in the beautiful American Pacific NW for 27 years. I have been a mixed media artist and teacher since moving to the USA. I love to create whimsical happy work and I am passionate about nature, conservation and wildlife. I love to photograph my natural surroundings and I am a great believer in spending time with nature.

I started out creating and teaching mixed media art, jewellery making and greeting cards many moons ago. I then discovered the wonderful world of watercolour and acrylic painting. I love working with these mediums as I never really know how my paintings will end up looking! I now also love creating digital paintings and art. My digital work is created solely by me, without the use of AI. I create using many layers in Procreate, Affinity and Topaz studio.

I am inspired by nature and I am so fortunate to have a large wild garden. We are frequently visited by the local bobcats, bears, deer, raccoons, owls, hawks, eagles and countless birds!

After many years of living with chronic pain after contracting a virus, I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue in 2021. This has been incredibly life changing and challenging, however being able to continue creating my art along with amazing support of my wonderful husband, friends and my fabulous kitties is an absolute gift to me.
